Climb CDC

A safe place where families learn together

Our mission is to promote strong communities by providing individuals access to opportunities that inspire self-reliance.

Climb CDC operates a Drop-In Resource Center for homeless youth ages 16-24. Resources and outreach are targeted toward homeless youth who live, work, or attend school in Harrison County, however, no youth in need are turned away. Climb CDC meets the needs of homeless youth through individualized case management, connections to resources, improved access to services and supports, and assistance with basic needs. All our services are offered free of charge.

The Drop-In Center offers:

  • Light snacks, access to the Internet, charging of electronics, and relaxation.
  • Case management and resource referrals
  • Courses such as parenting, career readiness, life skills and leadership, anger management, and character development.

Community speakers, volunteer assistance, and donations of food and cleaning supplies are always appreciated.
